The club enjoyed another President's Weekend, this time in Winchester. Friday evening some of the members attended a very thought provoking play put on by a local group of actors. Saturday morning was taken up with a lively tour around the Cathedral area by a a guide who was also a member of the local Rotary Club. Some members visited the Cathedral for another excellant tour while others explored the centre of the city. There was a Morris Dancing Pageant in progress that was really great fun to watch. In the evening we enjoyed a really nice meal but with a subtle twist at the end with mince pies being served with coffee that had been mis-understood from "mints"!!!!. We thought everybody spoke English. Malcolm the guest speaker gave an inspired talk about his Army musical career that developed into fund raising for a variety of charities. We are now looking forward to next year's "President weekend".
