Rotary Club of Ascot Charity Golf

It’s still not too late to enter a team for the grand Charity Golf match, organised by the Rotary Club of Ascot on Monday, 14th August at Chobham Golf Course.  The day starts with coffee and a breakfast bacon bap then in the morning there is a nine-hole Texas Scramble.  A light lunch is provided, after which the 18-hole Teams of Four Stapleford competition occupies the afternoon.

In the evening there is a Gala Prize-giving Dinner and a Grand Charity Auction.  All this comes for an entry fee of just £360 per team of four.  Players may bring additional guests to the dinner for £25 per head.

This year the event is being run in conjunction with the “Children with Special Needs Foundation”, which provides help to help children with special needs in the Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire region, and which is the main beneficiary.  The event also raises money for the Rotary Club of Ascot charity account, from which many donations are made to local, national and international charities and individuals in need.  Last year the Charity Golf Day raised over £6,500, and the organisers hope to raise even more this year.

Businesses and organisations can also support the event through sponsorship arrangements.  Full details of entry and sponsorship and also entry forms can be found on www.rotaryascot.org/golf , or email golf@rotaryascot.org .
