Major Beneficiaries

CWSNF

For our 2010 event we have selected the Thames Valley and Chilterns Air Ambulance Trust (TVACAA) as our main beneficiary.

TVACAA was established in 1999 as one of six air ambulance charities sponsored by the Automobile Association (AA) for a period of three years. The charity itself was incorporated in 2000.   TVACAA functions solely to raise the funds required to keep the helicopter flying.  £2 million is needed to cover the annual running costs.   No funding is received from central Government or the National Lottery.  This means every single penny needed is raised by the community and businesses of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

In keeping with previous years events, other local charities also benefit from the Golf Day fund-raising activity. In 2009 we were able to provide support to the Ascot District Day Centre, Caring for Carers, Thames HospiceCare, Christopher's Smile, Sebastian's Trust, Peach, Riding for the Disabled and more.
