Once again, for our 2008 event we have selected “Children with Special Needs Foundation” as our major beneficiary and partner. This Registered Charity (Charity Number 1062151) applies 100% of all donations to support children with needs. Like the Rotary Club of Ascot, all administrative costs are funded and borne by it’s supporters. With your support this year, we hope to again make a significant contribution towards this organisation’s funds. Last year, with fantastic community support, our Golf Day enabled us to contribute over £6,750 towards computer equipment for children with special needs at a local school. In keeping with previous years events, other local charities benefited from this fund-raising activity. In 2007 we were able to support The Ascot District Day Centre, Longridge Outdoor Centre, Caring for the Carers, Thames Hospicecare, Thames Valley Air Ambulance, and Riding for the Disabled.
