January and ongoing

Girls from St Mary’s  School  to teach computer skills…

David Hilton, local Councillor, is currently pursuing a proposal for Senior Girls from St Mary’s School, Ascot, to offer their time and services in teaching computer skills to individual members who would like to learn some basic techniques.  A Computer has been donated and set up in the Day Centre, by Mike Price, Ascot Rotarian.

Seated Dance Classes

Di Ruddick, our seated dance class instructor, will be teaching extra classes on alternate Tuesdays in preparation for a Countywide session where all classes will join together on Friday 12th March at Norden Farm Art Centre, Maidenhead to demonstrate their skills.

Ongoing Gift and Jewelry Sales over the coming months and throughout the year.

February

New Luxury Assisted Bathing Facility!

Sadly, our old bath with assisted seat broke in August last year.  We are now in the position, with the help of fund raising, to install a new one.  This should be completed by the end of February and will have an additional Jacuzzi facility.

Valentine Lunch

We will be celebrating Valentines Day on Monday 15th February with a special lunch and a raffle.

18th February

The Sunning Singers will be coming to entertain on the 18th February.

March

The Annual Volunteers Party

We are planning this for the 19th March and will be by invitation.

Plans for our Summer Holiday

We have booked a long weekend  to Norton Grange, a Warner Resort on the Isle of Wight for a themed “Swing music” weekend for 30 members.
