New Toilet "Ready to Go"

Our newly refurbished ladies toilets and disabled toilet are created and now in use.

Our toilets were very dated and not quite up to current health and safety standards. Our previous ladies toilets lacked dignity and the disabled toilet which is unisex,  could only be accessed via the ladies toilets.  We had an opportunity to improve the ladies toilets at the same time as creating a dedicated disabled toilet.  We now have a dedicated disabled toilet with access from the entrance off the main corridor leading into the Day Centre.

Backed by consultation with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, we employed specialists to advise on design and specification.  

We were astonished by the generosity of the many people and individuals who supported us financially, including RB.W.M., Kirk Rice Ltd., the Rotary Club of Ascot, Gallaghers Ltd, and the Day Centre Benefactors Club.  The total expense was covered by the above organisations plus many smaller donations from generous local residents and businesses.
