Heather's Garden

We have been proud to create a courtyard garden behind the Day Centre in honour of our long serving previous Manager, Heather Hogden who sadly died from cancer.  

A team of people from Starbucks Ltd., came for 3 days to clear the undergrowth and establish the beds.  They also bought new garden benches.  Waitrose Sunningdale, consistent supporters of the Day Centre, also donated tables and chairs for the garden which can be stacked and stored for larger events.

We have been fortunate that Mrs Eve Chiltern, a prominent member of Sunningdale Horticultural Society spends time every week to replant and maintain the garden which is highly valued by the members because it is a peaceful, secluded courtyard, offering a Haven of rest and relaxation.
