C.O.P.D. Of course you knew that this was medical shorthand for “Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease“ You learnt a great deal more on 31st January at the second  Boehringer-Ingelheim Community Lecture . The essential message was DON’T SMOKE and protect your respiratory system. It will make your future life more enjoyable.
We were given this news and an entertaining and interactive session by the Consultant from our own King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor. His patients are truly lucky to be in such competent hands.

Also close to home, our Vocational & Community Services committee are sponsoring a “local” Junior Schools Concert at the Hexagon , Reading on Sunday 4th March. We look forwards to seeing you there, along with 400 children and their supporting families !

What’s New ?

In future “The Bulletin” will just contain the current month’s News Items with hyperlinks attached to the text - we hope you’ll like it.
