The Inner Wheel Club of Ascot celebrated its 50th birthday in 2013, and is a member of the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs which are part of the family of Rotary.

We meet each month on the fourth Wednesday at Mill Ride Golf Club, in Ascot, 7 for 7.30pm to share a meal, friendship and hear a speaker or presentation. If there is a fifth Wednesday in the month, we join with Ascot Rotary for dinner and speaker.

There are usually two fund-raising events a year, together with International Inner Wheel Day in January. Other events include support for neighbouring IW clubs, our own Ascot Rotary and occasional international exchanges.  You can read about our recent activities in our News and Gossip column, on our website home page.

The three objects of Inner Wheel are very simple. They are to promote true friendship, encourage the ideals of personal service and to foster international understanding. Inner Wheel is a caring organisation, not only to its members, but also to others outside its circle.

Friendship is the core of all that is done and achieved by members of Inner Wheel. Wherever there is an Inner Wheel Club, no matter in which country, you are made very welcome. Friendship and fun abounds as members work together to help others less fortunate than themselves, not only in this country, but overseas.

Membership is open to all women who share in our ideals of service and friendship. We offer a valuable outlet for women of like mind who are searching for a way to provide voluntary service.
