March Club Dinner Meeting -

A most enjoyable evening, with a visit from District Chairman Vicki Mountford. Vicki spoke of her nominated Charity Pancreatic Cancer Research, and encouraged awareness of this hidden killer. Vicki also talked about Jesse's Fund and the heartrending video of the work done by the fund that was shown at the District Conference. She also gave an amusing description of her life, family and experiences. We then were shown three lovely blankets created by the Knit and Natter group. The evening ended with President Anne handing the Presidential Collar to Edith.

Birthday Celebration -

Celebrating 56 years of friendship and fundraising. Members, together with friends from 'Mother Club' Windsor and Eton IW, enjoyed a superb Champagne Afternoon Tea at the home of President Anne. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was deserving of a Michelin Star. Anne was ably assisted by sous chefs Edith and Sonja, and our thanks and appreciation go to all three.
